You've Heard It Said - More Than You Can Handle

The human immune system is so amazing; in the harsh environment in the world we live in without our immune systems we would not be alive. What is amazing about our immune system is that it understands it’s context. It doesn’t try to control the hostile world it lives in but, it works to build a powerful response to it. So what does this have to do with faith? As human’s we try to control our external environment and keep everything safe and away from challenges and harm. However, we don’t grow though unless we face pain. We think that God doesn’t call us to more than we can handle but, when we take the example of Jesus and face the challenges head on, then we grow. Where might God be calling you, that goes just a little bit farther beyond than you might think you can handle?
