Hope in the Darkness

Looking into Chapter 29 in the book of Jeremiah we see the Israelites wrapped in conflict and in the middle of darkness. In the midst of this the Lord says 'I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

We know that the Lord is already there with us. Empires rise and fall, but faithfulness is eternal. All we are called to is faithfulness.
